This private beach paradise is located on the western end of the beautiful island of St. Croix in the United States Virgin Islands and is just half a mile from the quaint town of Frederiksted. This completely unique, family owned and operated getaway offers privacy equal to no other in the Caribbean. To the south of us, miles of isolated beach, ready to be explored, and to the north of us, a spectacular view of the Frederiksted Pier, downtown Frederiksted and the grassy green mountains of the rainforest.

Most of our cottages are located just a few feet from St. Croix's most beautiful white, coral, sand beach and the Caribbean Sea. The furthest Cottage is just 40 steps away from the beach. The gem-clear turquoise waters of the Caribbean are unsurpassed for swimming and snorkeling. Two large patios on the beach can be used for sunning, lounging, and outdoor grilling. They're also a great gathering place to await the spectacular sunsets and to look for the elusive “green flash”.

With only 21 units, with no phones in the cottages, and without the hustle and bustle of a large resort, Cottages by the Sea is the perfect vacation getaway for those who are looking to completely unwind and relax.
